Privacy Policy

SaveXPost is a free tool for downloading public videos from Twitter / X. We built it to do one thing without getting in your way — so we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what that means in plain terms.

What we collect

No account, no sign-up. You don't create an account to use SaveXPost, so we never ask for your name, email, or password.

When you use the downloader, the following happens:

• The link you paste is sent to our server so we can look up the video's available qualities. We use it to fulfil your request and do not build a profile from it.
• The video itself is streamed through our server to force a proper download (X blocks direct browser downloads). We pass the bytes straight to your device — the file is not saved, copied, or retained on our servers, and the connection is set to no-store.
• Basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) may be processed transiently by our hosting provider to deliver the service, prevent abuse, and keep the site secure.

Cookies & analytics

The core downloader works without tracking cookies. We may use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. These figures are anonymous and are not used to identify you.

Advertising

We may display ads to keep SaveXPost free. When advertising is enabled, third-party vendors — including Google — use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this and other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• You can opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info/choices.

Third-party services

To work, SaveXPost interacts with services we don't control:

• Twitter / X & its CDN — we fetch public video data and the video file from X's servers. Your use of X is governed by X's own policies.
• Our hosting / CDN provider — serves the site and processes requests on our behalf.
• Advertising & analytics partners — as described above, when enabled.

Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Because we don't hold accounts or personal profiles, there is usually nothing for us to retrieve — but you can still reach us with any request at support@savexpost.com.

Children's privacy

SaveXPost is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
